What role will you take on a team?

We are looking for a person who is technically competent, effective at problem-solving, and has the interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to changing situations. As a member of our IT support team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional assistance and technical support to other teams.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting internal users in resolving day-to-day hardware and software support issues on-site and remotely;
  • Handling, resolving and monitoring user requests in a timely manner;
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining computer hardware, software and peripherals;
  • Preparing hardware for new employees (including creating user accounts, installing software, configuring mail, etc.) in cooperation with Office Administration and HR;
  • Basic servicing of computer hardware, e.g. replacing RAM, disk, batteries, repairing minor damage;
  • Cooperating with external companies in servicing hardware;
  • Inventorying computer hardware and software;
  • Preparing manuals and updating the knowledge base covering used software and hardware;
  • Carrying out hardware tests and creating and updating internal procedures;
  • Administrating the local IT environment, e-mail systems, corporate intranet;
  • Building, testing and implementing new IT infrastructure technologies with the IT and DevOps team;
  • Working closely with others in the IT and DevOps teams.

 

Our expectations

  • Technical education;
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Availability to work stationary at least twice a week;
  • Ability to diagnose and repair hardware, software and network problems;
  • Very good knowledge of Windows operating systems;
  • Knowledge of Linux systems at a basic level;
  • Basic knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN);
  • Understanding of cyber security and related best practices;
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work with others to solve problems;
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be flexible;
  • Ability to manage own time and responsibilities;
  • Conscientiousness, creativity, willingness to share ideas;
  • Ability to read technical documentation in English.

 

Would be your advantage

  • Ability to use API to integrate tools;
  • Good knowledge of the operation of LAN/WAN computer networks;
  • Knowledge of network and system threats;
  • Knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets;
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace Microsoft 365 services
  • High motivation to develop cyber security skills and learn new technologies

We work in self-organizing Scrum teams. Test writing and code refactoring is our daily bread.
We are taking care of the technological debt and the quality of the code.
We plan our Sprint goals every 2 weeks, and use OKR’s in every quarter planning.
We speak both Polish (internally) and English (with our partners).
We work in hybrid mode with flexible hours, from home or from the office in Katowice (no dress code).

  • Screening – call with Recruiter (20 min)
  • Technical interview – online meeting in Polish (60 min.)
  • Final interview – video interview or meeting in the office with Hiring Manager and HR in Polish (45 min.)
