What role will you take on a team?

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Tech Leader to join our R&D group, a doer, a thinker and a leader responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading activities across the entire delivery lifecycle, to ensure successful deliveries.

Our Tech leaders write code, lead by example, mentor and assist other developers. A “Can-Do” and “Can-Help” is what we are looking for.

You will spend your time mostly on:
– coding new features (~60%)
– maintenance and bug fixing (~20%)
– internal meetings and analyses (~10%)
– participating in recruitment (~10%)

 

Your responsibilities

  • Lead a team of developers working on large-scale and complex applications and services.
  • Manage the delivery of multiple, complex, simultaneous development projects from design through to release.
  • Ensure that risks and issues are identified and managed closely while driving all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Make critical decisions to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives.

 

Our expectations

  • At least 3 years of experience in managing highly skilled developers and the ability to lead, coach, guide, and influence them.
  • Deep understanding of C#, .NET (core, framework), and application lifecycle.
  • Experience with Cloud, preferably AWS.
    Experience in developing scalable, concurrent, low-latency, fault-tolerant systems.
  • Strong track record of leading and managing the delivery of software development projects, meeting key milestones, and overcoming challenges.
  • Ability to manage, track and identify risks, bottlenecks, and challenges ahead of time, and oversee technical coordination to resolve them.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with other teams in the group (abroad).
  • Have good interpersonal skills and fluent in English (B1 at least).
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, and driven team in a context-switching environment.

 

Would be your advantage:

  • Experience working with Azure DevOps pipelines (developing and supporting pipelines).
  • Knowledge in Node.JS, Phyton.

 

How do we work?

We work in self-organizing Scrum teams. Test writing and code refactoring is our daily bread.  We are taking care of the technological debt and the quality of the code. We plan our Sprint goals every 2 weeks, and use OKR’s in every quarter planning. We speak both Polish (internally) and English (with our partners). We work in hybrid mode with flexible hours, from home or from the office in Katowice (no dress code).

  • Technical interview – online meeting in English (90 min.)

    2) Your personal data will be processed for the purposes of the recruitment process and, if you give your consent to it, for the purposes of future recruitment processes carried out by STATSCORE – in accordance with Article 6(1)(c) of GDPR, in conjunction with Article 221 of the Polish Labour Code of 26 June 1974 (i.e. Dz. U. [Journal of Laws] of 2019, item 1040, hereinafter: the “Labour Code”) and Article 6(1)(a) of GDPR in conjunction with Article 221a of the Labour Code in the case of personal data other than that listed in Article 221 § 1 of the Labour Code (i.e. other than that listed in (4) below).
    3) Where necessary, the recipients of your personal data may include third parties such as payroll service providers, legal service providers and other entities authorised by law (public administration entities).
    4) Furnishing personal data such as: forename(s) and surname; date of birth; contact details; education; professional qualifications and employment history is mandatory and required under the labour laws, i.e. specifically pursuant to Article 221 § 1 of the Labour Code.
    5) Furnishing your personal data other than that listed in (4), as requested by STATSCORE, is voluntary.
    6) If you refuse to provide the data mentioned in (4), we will not be able to proceed with the recruitment process.
    7) Your personal data will be retained only for the duration of the recruitment process. Once the recruitment process is completed, your personal data will be retained only for the duration of the purpose of future recruitment processes, but not longer than for a year from the date you provide your personal data, provided that you have previously consented to the processing of the personal data also for the purposes of future recruitment processes.
    8) Your personal data will not be subject to automated decision-making or profiling.
    9) You have the right to access the personal data held about you and to have your data rectified or erased, or to restrict or object to its processing, as well as the right to data portability. If your personal data is processed pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of GDPR (i.e. processed on the basis of your consent), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before your consent was withdrawn.
    10) You may lodge a complaint with regard to the processing of the above-mentioned data to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO).
