WHAT ROLE WILL YOU TAKE
ON A TEAM?

We are currently looking for experienced talents who would like to join our R&D group and work with us to solve complex problems in a simple way! As a product company we are looking for long-term cooperation.
Your role as QA Engineer requires quality engineering experience in the field of manual testing to be a natural team player and empathetic person open for other’s opinion who will be cooperating with our QAs, Developers, Product Managers, and Technical Leaders.

You will spend your time mostly on:
– New tests (~50%)
– Maintenance (~20%)
– Document writing (~20%)
– Meetings (~10%)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting in requirements and acceptance criteria specification in collaboration with Product Manager and Developer’s team
  • Bug tracking and verification – identifying, documenting, and validating resolutions
  • Designing and running manual, functional, non-functional and performance tests
  • Owning, driving and improving a testing process, tools and metrics used during a whole development cycle
  • Creating and maintaining test documentation standards
  • Making continuous improvements to test execution. Taking care of code coverage
  • Cooperating with a Product’s, Developer’s and DevOps’ teams to ensure proper scope of testing

OUR EXPECTATIONS

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in manual testing
  • Experience in E2E testing for flows between different teams/groups
  • Understanding databases and SQL query language
  • Good experience in integration, performance and system testing
  • The knowledge about a communication frameworks such us RabbitMQ or Kafka
  • Good interpersonal skills and English language on a communicative level (B2+)
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Knowledge of full software development life cycle

WOULD BE YOUR ADVANTAGE:

  • ISTQB certification
  • Working with Jira
  • Basic experience in working with clouds i.e., AWS, Azure, GCP or others
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell or Python
  • Proficiency in managing Kubernetes cluster

HOW DO WE WORK?

We work in self-organizing Scrum teams. Test writing and code refactoring is our daily bread.  We are taking care of the technological debt and the quality of the code. We plan our Sprint goals every 2 weeks, and use OKR’s in every quarter planning. We speak both Polish (internally) and English (with our partners). We work in hybrid mode with flexible hours, from home or from the office in Katowice (no dress code).

    3. Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
    - conduct of recruitment process for a given position, conduct of all necessary activities aimed at conclusion of contract pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR;
    - fulfilment of all legal obligations of Statscore required by law, in particular those resulting from the Act of 26 June 1974 Labor Code and executive acts to this Act (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR);
    - inclusion of your application in future recruitment if you consented to that (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR);
    - assessment of candidates motivation and verification of candidate's skills on the basis of e.g. content of the cover letter, interview or practical test results (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR);

    4. Personal data collected for the purpose of the current recruitment will be processed until the end of the recruitment process, and will be archived for up to 1 year. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in charge of personal data protection in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement if the processing of personal data violates personal data protection laws. In Poland supervisory authority is President of the Personal Data Protection Office Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.

    7. If your obligation to provide us with personal data arises from Article 221 of the Polish Labor Code provision of such data is mandatory for recruitment process. In all other cases provision of personal data is completely voluntary, and based on consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), however, these data may be necessary for the proper conduct of activities related to the recruitment process. If you don’t provide us with such information, recruiting process may become difficult or impossible to conduct.

    8. Your personal data shall not be subject to automated decision-making or profiling.

    9. Please be advised that in order to operate jointly with our parent company and affiliates in an efficient and optimal manner your personal data may be transferred and stored outside the European Economic Area (EEA).     KLAUZULA INFORMACYJNA

    Zgodnie z art. 13 Rozporządzenia Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady (UE) 2016/679 z 27 kwietnia 2016 r. w sprawie ochrony osób fizycznych w związku z przetwarzaniem danych osobowych i w sprawie swobodnego przepływu takich danych oraz uchylenia dyrektywy 95/46/WE – dalej „RODO”, informujemy, iż:

    3. Państwa dane osobowe przetwarzane będą:
    - w celu przeprowadzenia rekrutacji na dane stanowisko oraz w ramach czynności zmierzających do zawarcia umowy na podstawie art. 6 ust. 1 lit. b RODO oraz na podstawie Państwa zgody (art. 6 ust. 1 lit. a RODO), szczególnie w zakresie dodatkowych danych , których podanie nie jest obowiązkiem prawnym;

    3. Dane osobowe zbierane w celu obecnej rekrutacji przetwarzane będą do zakończenia rekrutacji, a następnie są archiwizowane przez okres 1 roku. W przypadku zgody na przyszłe rekrutacje dane przetwarzane będą przez okres do 2 lat chyba, że zgoda zostanie wcześniej cofnięta.

    4. Odbiorcami danych będą upoważnieni pracownicy i współpracownicy Statscore w ramach struktury wewnętrznej oraz w niezbędnym zakresie podmioty, które przetwarzają dane osobowe na rzecz Statscore (podmioty przetwarzające), w szczególności LSports data Ltd oraz zaufani dostawcy innych usług m.in. systemu rekrutacyjnego w oparciu o zawarte umowy powierzenia przetwarzania. Dane mogą zostać udostępnione również podmiotom upoważnionym do ich pozyskania na podstawie przepisów prawa.

    5. W granicach i na zasadach wynikających z art. 15-22 RODO posiada Pani/Pan prawo dostępu do treści danych, ich sprostowania, ograniczenia przetwarzania, sprzeciwu wobec przetwarzania opartego na uzasadnionym interesie administratora, żądania usunięcia danych oraz prawo skargi do Prezesa Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (dane kontaktowe dostępne na stronie: https://uodo.gov.pl/) jeśli stwierdzi Pani/Pan, że przetwarzanie narusza obowiązujące przepisy.     6. Podanie danych osobowych jest całkowicie dobrowolne, jednak dane te są potrzebne do prawidłowego przeprowadzenia czynności związanych z procesem rekrutacji oraz ewentualnym zawarciem umowy.

    7. Dane osobowe nie będą poddawane zautomatyzowanemu podejmowaniu decyzji w tym profilowaniu.

    8. Ze względu na międzynarodowy charakter działalności spółki informujemy, że dane osobowe mogą być przekazywane i przechowywane poza Europejskim Obszarem Gospodarczym (EOG).
