As a Sales Manager, you’ll have the autonomy to craft your own path, own your region (DACH), and play a critical role in the success of our company. You’ll be working across multiple sectors including sports, betting, and media, and will have the chance to create meaningful, long-lasting relationships with clients while delivering tailored data and tech solutions that power their business growth.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own your territory: Take full responsibility for managing the sales cycle – from engaging with qualified prospects, conducting needs analysis, delivering tailored presentations, negotiating terms, and closing deals, while ensuring smooth handover into onboarding and long-term account success.
- Pipeline & Territory Management: Build, maintain, and strategically grow your sales pipeline within assigned markets or verticals, ensuring consistent deal flow and revenue growth.
- Strategic Prospecting: Identify and prioritize high-value prospects in sports and media industries, while proactively exploring new markets and niche sectors. Leverage market insights, trends, and personal networks to uncover fresh opportunities for growth
- Market Representation: Act as the face of STATSCORE at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, strengthening brand presence and credibility.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding, account growth, and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, market feedback, and competitive insights to management, helping to shape business strategy.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
- 3+ Years of B2B Sales Experience: Preferably within sports or media industries, with a proven track record of closing deals and forging valuable partnerships.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to take initiative, solve problems creatively, and think analytically to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Self-Starter: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional Communication & Negotiation Skills: Ability to engage and communicate effectively at all levels, leading to successful negotiations and long-term partnerships.
- Fluency in English (B2 or higher): You’ll be working in an international environment, so strong English language skills are essential.
- Customer-Focused: Availability and flexibility to adapt to customer requirements and expectations, ensuring their needs are met.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with different tools, such as: CRM (HubSpot or similar), presentation tools (Power Point, Pitch or other type), database management tools like Apollo etc.
