How does it work?

Live Player Ratings track and evaluate footballer performance in real time, scoring on a transparent 1.0 to 10.0 scale.

• Every player active for 10+ minutes starts from a 6.0 baseline rating.
• Ratings increase or decrease dynamically with each positive or negative action.
• More than 30 different match actions are assessed, specific to player role and position.

Examples: 

• Actions that raise rating: goals, assists, successful dribbles, goal-line clearances, penalty saves.
• Actions that lower rating: errors, fouls, yellow/red cards, costly mistakes.

Final ratings also factor in team performance, the course of the match, the time spent on the pitch, and keeping a clean sheet by the team – with the MVP (Most Valuable Player) identified automatically.  

Beyond single-game stats, ongoing season metrics are tracked: average ratings, MVP counts, and team-wide performance scores.
